Working at AIS

Andinet International School believes in continuous professional development for teachers and administrative staff. To be a teacher is to be a learner. Exposure to best educational practices and new ways of understanding brain development and how children learn is important for us to improve ourselves. The school’s professional development coordinator organizes a seven day intensive and interactive PD program that prepares teachers for the new school year. We conclude the program with our collective rededication to educating children. Topics have included: differentiation in the classroom, teaching with enthusiasm, emotional intelligence, understanding the IPC, understanding special needs students, how to be a star teachers, and many more. As Steven Covey, would say, we must sharpen the saw.
