Dear AIS Community,
Welcome back! We hope our students and our school community are safe and well. While we are now returning to a new normal in person classes, the COVID – 19 pandemic continues to present challenges for all of us. We are all delighted to be back on campus and experiencing the energy and buzz of life that comes with all our students at the school compound.
We are currently completing our revision classes for our grades 8 and 12 students as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Education, and our students will sit for the National Exams (In October 2021 grade 8 students, and in November 2021, grade 12 students).
Friday, October 5, 2021:
In-Person classes will begin in the early Childhood, the Primary Division, and the Secondary Division.
Please check with your division principal for the schedules and timings,
Also, protect yourselves from COVID – 19 pandemic, and during this uncertain and critical times if you, anyone in your family or anyone near you is diagnosed with Coronavirus (COVID-19), please contact the school before your child/children return to school.
Thank you for your patience,
AIS Leadership Team
We Accomplished This Today!
December 13, 2021, Andinet International School teachers and students along with Andinet Education and Training PLC paid a visit to Bela Defense Force Hospital and donated 1 million ETB, and around 300,000 ETB worth of clothing and medicine for the Ethiopian soldiers who were injured in the battle to save our country, Ethiopia!
Colonel Abate Misganaw, the Hospital’s General Director, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the support and stated that he was very glad to encounter students who are cognizant of the price paid by the Ethiopian Defense Force to save Ethiopia and that they made bold decision to support our army. He also called on to students and teachers to serve their country with dedication, honesty, and integrity in any areas that they are assigned to labor.
Dr. Muluken Nigatu, the Director General of Quality Assurance in Education, representing the Ministry of Education said on his part that at a time when some International Schools have been shutting down classes due to the Western propaganda, Andinet International School is not only continuing its education but also delivering aid and showing its great partnership with the Ethiopian Defense Force. Dr. Muluken also said that AIS is exemplary to other schools. He added that the school needs to continue supporting the displaced and the young who are not currently attending their education on account of the war.
AIS has already started raising funds and gathering other items other than money for the displaced. Finally, Andinet would like to thank all who took part in this honorable task for a noble cause!
