![]() The Primary School is where student begin to form good work habits by building on the solid Early Childhood foundation. Language skills are enhanced with continuation of phonics, reading, spelling, and creative writing. Stories are an important feature in English class, as well as in Amharic class. Amharic language class challenges students to improve their spelling, reading and writing in order to express themselves confidently.
Math, science and social studies complete the core curriculum, while French, ICT, art music and P. E. enhance the students’ school experience and provides a creative outlet. ![]() Children learn through a variety of hands-on activities, games, and inquiry based learning which encourages critical thinking skills. Through activities, children begin to expand their thinking and see the bigger picture. Additionally, the Primary School experience helps children learn how to relate to one another, have a sense of belongingness, to form meaningful friendships, to work and play together, and how to solve conflicts peacefully. These critical interpersonal relationship skills are carried with the child into middle school. ![]() |
